Tjv28, I think I have pictures of that buck from last year. I'll have to see if I can find them.

Got my buck 10/25. Waited for foul weather to show up in the afternoon. Walked in to a selective logging area. Waited a while. Moved little. Saw this 3 point about 100 yards away. Stalked to within 15 yards and nailed him with my 20 gauge. Not a big one but nice and tasty!

Nice buck axle... I think I saw mine last year too, hiking on the mountain. Here's a trail cam pic. He had 8" of a carbon arrow in his chest cavity. Full scarred over. Arrow looked several years old

Yep, that's him. I'll upload a couple pics of him tonight.
He ran out in front of my car about this time last year. I almost got to tag him in an unconventional method  :chuckle:
He seemed slow but he also acted like he had a good ability to reason.
I hope you are having him mounted.

70 yard shot with about ten minutes of light left. He was leaving reprod to enter timber with salal and ferns.  He stopped broadside and looked at me for a perfect heart shot.  This is my second buck with my hand loads, first with this load so I'm very happy.  Used my Ar in 6.8 spc.

Posting this for a friend. The picture don't do this buck justice. I measured his width 18 1/4 wide, 2" diameter at the base and estimated him to be around 4-5 years old. A really beautiful buck, I wish I had taken better pictures but I was wet, cranky >:(

Ok Tjv28, let's see if I can get your buck pics to load. My son took these with his cell phone last year. He was so excited that he couldn't hold still enough to take a clear picture. This was in a neighbor's yard.
There was one here 20 years ago that was a bit bigger than this one. He had width and height that I've never seen on a BT before. His legs were uncharacteristically long too! One year there were 2 large 3 point bucks that hang around him and he made them look small. I saw that huge buck next to a full-grown doe and she looked like a fawn standing next to him. With that buck's height, I don't know how or if he managed to breed. That big buck ran across Iss-Ho rd right in front of me in '95 and I was so tempted to hit the throttle instead of the brakes  :chuckle: :chuckle: but I didn't.

So glad to see your buck in the freezer instead of dead on the side of the road like so many end up.
