Jackelope's 2015 opening weekend report
« on: October 19, 2015, 10:41:36 AM »

That is all.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Lots of hiking. Lots of rain. No glassing(fog). No deer seen(Fog).
Made for some good gear testing.
That's about all I got.

Looks very scenic up there, any deer sign to keep you up there?

At least you were able to get out there   and like you said, a great way to test your gear.

Did you run into anyone else up there? If not, I would think that is a successful weekend in it's own rights.  :chuckle:

Well, you had a good time right?

I guess I'd call it a good time. Could've been a lot worse.
