Those who have contacted CVA for new breech plugs, have they been charging you for them, or are they shipping out replacements for free? I got charged for my replacement, but from what Carp said above, it sounds like they may be shipping them out for free?

I have contacted CVA and they replaced my breechplug for free.  I suppose they would charge if you wanted more than one, but from my experience with BPI inc. they have replaced everything I have broken or complained about so I see no need to get more that one at a time because if in the future they change the design again I would just get the new one for free.  Having a lifetime warranty means they take responsibility for anything that needs replacing within the lifetime of your ownership of the gun, so let them.

Sad but true they have good design but details suck.  sling stud mentioned so no bipod on that one "trust me I know" but watch out for the cheap metal screws too.  I basically have tapped and repaired it like no other.  I suspect one of the little springs is gonna go.  When that happens my wife will lose her manufactured by other brand  Yes you can feel the difference and it even cleans better
Seriously replace those screws, and carefully!
