2015 30 yard muley
« on: October 19, 2015, 07:41:30 PM »
Well, thanks to my little brothers for helping out with the pack out. Hiked into my good luck hill, 3 bucks off the same hill, pretty much off the same tree I have been sitting by for years. Here are some pics of my drinking fountain (the stream), my home away from home, and a pic of the buck that I popped at 30 yards...The good Lord blessed me again. Not the biggest buck, but I ate back strap fajitas tonight thanks to the buck who was breathing yesterday morning. Thanks deer, you have filled my freezer and gave me good memories. Clean kill, good times and safe, what more could I ask for?

Wolves sang me to sleep opening day evening, got to watch some mt goats both days.

It looks like the deer on that hill have shrunk at the same rate as your tent!

Good times. Congrats

You deserve every bit of the reward Saylean.....Good, healthy eats... I don't know as though I'd call them "little" though.  ;)

Recognize your spot. Was above you and saw 4x4 and 2x2, no eyeguards, last Thurs. Love that area.

I like your priorities!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

You learn to keep going in lighter each year.  Make the work coming out easier.  Congrats on the nice buck.
