The member is johhanes_from, he is interested in going out waterfowl hunting and is located in the north Seattle area. I met with him yesterday and filled out the paperwork for him to differ the hunter safety program. I am going to do my best to get him out hunting as much as I can. If someone lives near the north Seattle area and is also able to take him out that would be awesome. I live in Arlington so if someone would be interested in picking him up and meeting with me and duck hunting that would be great also. I have decoys and a boat.

Thank you!. I think it will be a great experience for him and will be cool to hear how hunting is where he is from.

If I was on the wet side, I would help.  If yall make it over to the dry side let me know.  I don't have a lot of waterfowl places to go, but I do have some nice quail spots.
Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

How far north of seattle? I'm in s. Everett and could probably help out if the hunt is on a weekend.

I think this is awesome and would totally help out. I just have one word of warning and it is that I believe NW-GSP has to be at the hunt for johhanes_from to legally hunt since you signed the paperwork for the hunter safety program. At least that is how read how it worked. I hope he gets out and you can share some of the success here. Good luck guys!

Count me in.

johhanes_from and I exchanged PM's a week or two ago. Once the out of state birds come in, I'll be taking him out as a guest in our lease but probably won't be until mid-late Nov.

I believe he's in West Seattle and I work in DT Seattle so it's an easy meet up for me. I don't have any waterfowl options between now and then and still plan on chasing deer.  PM me if you'd like to coordinate NW-GSP.

Where is your foreign exchange student from?  Is he proficient with firearms?  First time hunting?  Any additional details?
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

He had posted on the hunt WA site that he was interested in hunting while he was here. He is from Denmark and has experience hunting there.

Not to hijack the thread, I think its great you guys can get together and treat the kid to a hunt or 2.
Can an exchange student own or possess a firearm? If not how do you get around I-594, would it be legal to let him use one of your shotguns on a hunt?

This is awesome! I don't have many spots and what I do know of I am still trying to figure everything out, the guy i used to hunt with and rely on stopped hunting a few years back so I'm learning as I go. So I may not be the best person to host. I do however have a couple doz decoy and a dog. He's pretty young but can get it done. If I can help out let me know.
