Anybody bagging birds

Did really good opening day got 9 and a speckle belly. Would have limited out by 10 if not for the nice dudes that were 100 yards away from me cranking on their calls trying to steal the birds circling my dekes... Didn't work for him but he tried and was really quite annoying. Was so close to yelling at them but I was shooting birds so I wasn't ticked off too much.

"The best part is once my spot has ducks in it they stay there year round. Got up to about 2,000 last year. I even picked out a spot to put the blind on the X you could say. I'm going g to use 3 1/2 dozen ducks and 6 geese. Getting up at 3:30 the morning of."

No I've seen them there before. They were just a couple of unethical hunters that I've cleaned up there garbage and shells before. They would have to know the spot in the first place also...

Just a grunt for a guide who lets you hunt with them to pay for services rendered.      Good luck this season.  Not much for migrating ducks currently.  Lots of geese and surprisingly a ton of cacklers in the area.  More than I have ever seen.  One pile of snow geese in the area.  A few more wind storms and we will really clean up on them.

Got a few opening day.  Had a nice roasted mallard last night for the first time.  Tide sucked last weekend and we had some fisherman as competition so only got a couple shots in a limited window.  Looking forward to knocking a few more down that is for sure.

Still thousands of Scoters around here.  Finally got my authorization cards and Fed Stamp today.

Ran into one good sized flock of green wing teal today, only bagged one but its better than none thats for sure!
