Good backpacking pack. Not a hunting pack if you want to haul heavy loads.

I have 3 osprey packs and absolutely love them all. Different sizes for different activities. I highly recommend them.

I've got 4 Osprey packs. I generally like their fit and features but imo they are too light on padding and suspension for heavy loads.

I have an atmos 50.

That said, my buddy helped me pack out a deer this weekend with his atmos 50 which he bought because he liked mine (for backpacking). I opted to take a bigger beefier Gregory Baltoro, which is where I would steer you for heavier loads.

My wife backpacks with an Osprey and loves it.  She has a Badlands day pack for hunting though, and for meat hauling, she has an Eberlestock F1 Mainframe.

Depends on how you want to use it. If it fits you well and you wont need to pack out a load on your first trip it'll do fine. Just have a pack frame ready to take out. Personally I just carry a hunting specific pack so I dont have to make an extra run for a pack frame. Although Im usually hunting a few miles from the truck.

I have one as well. I think it's the big Atmos 75. I bought it for a 3 week trip to Europe about 3 years ago.. It's been on many many trips since.. A few long wilderness pack trips and multiethnic out of the country vaca's. I love this thing. Holds up very well. It's too big for a day pack, so I use my badlands super day for that, but for all other purposes I think they are hard to beat.

If its an Osprey and it fits you well, you won't be disappointed.
