380 purchase in the near future

I carried an AMT Backup for a LONG time - they were very hit and miss in terms of reliability, the second one I bought has been a dream for reliability and accuracy.  I purchased a Ruger LCP with the Lasermax sight and a Sig P238 in the past few years.  Both are excellent and reliable.  The LCP has a long trigger pull, the laser is great for dry fire exercises and getting the muscle memory to stay on target while firing.  Everything about the Sig is awesome, if you don't mind single action and carrying cocked and locked.  Chalk me up as another pocket .380 fan, been carrying them for over 20 years now.

If you can find one in excellent condition you can't go wrong with a Browning BDA in .380 cal.  Light and thinly compact for easy carry.

Don't leave out the round count. Have been told that it is not a carry gun, But then just ask if it is so bad how many would you want to catch? Have not had any takers yet. I guess that does answer the question.

Then again when you see what folks are looking to spend perhaps the DBA is a bit rich.

Looking to purchase a 380 for my CCW.  For those out there that do this, or did with the 380, what models are great and which ones should I avoid? Thank you for any help in this 

Issue I have with 380 is the ammo is $$$ compared to 9mm. A Ruger LC9 isn't much bigger than the 380 model. Glock 26 is pretty small.

Have a 380 walther ppk/s and pretty much hate it. Went back to a full size 9mm.

I like it, does jump a bit due to the weight though.  I only shot a few rounds, really want to take it out and cycle it a few more times.

Had an LCP sold it. any slightly warm ammo (hornady tap, Corbon) it tried to jump right out of my hand even with the pinky extension. Didn't really like it so I sold it to a buddy of mine. Now I'm looking at the S&W body guard, bit more to hold on to, little heavier and decent sights.
