last 2 nights, have had waves of geese honking while I lay in bed with window open over the kitsap area.. times 10-15 minutes almost continuous noise in the sky heading south..

Noticed the same thing over the last week or so. The birds must be noticing the shorter days! Seen ducks starting to fly in bigger flocks too.

My first post on the board! I saw a flock of cacklers yesterday morning. Seems early for down here in Lower Columbia area.  :dunno:

Seeing a little movement over here on the far east side, but nothing like you are seeing to the west.
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

My brother lives in central Alaska and he said the birds are getting out of dodge. It's freezing and snowing already. Early season might be good. :tup:
