Few extra rigs at the normal spot but they were all gone by 9:30am sept for one

Hwy 25 was like I-5 at 5 o'clock!! Never seen as many rigs for the early opener. Just wait until the late whitetail hunt if you think it was bad already.. Even the city slicker neighbors I have came up and shot the tame bucks right behind my place. Don't know if they shot them or just held an apple out for them and  slit their throats. I'm sure they are bragging at work today. Life goes on..........

I'm seeing way more hunters in the 121 this year. Most aren't getting off of their quads though. Only seen one guy in the woods while I Ridge hop.

Idiots everywhere road hunting for peckerheads, driving around on closed roads, trespassing, having fires where they arent allowed, you name it.  Glad i drew the quality this year, so i get the woods to myself between early and late rifle.  If i dont fill my tag by the time late rifle opens ill just start hunting my own property.

I haven't seen much of a difference where I hunt.Haven't heard that many shots either.Haven't seen many out of town hunters in Chewelah at the motels. Late buck will be the true test on the any buck change. Chances are better of getting a bigger buck and the chances are definitely better going home w/a filled tag.
