Pretty sure the dogs aren't going to sleep much tonight after seeing me getting the gear ready. Good luck everyone. Shoot straight and be safe.

wind hasn't picked up yet.  I'd hate to think the weather system went around Moses Lake.

Howd you guys do? Went out with "Dogs and Duck Calls" and another member and we had limits by 10. Tried out a new spot and it worked out. One of labs, murphy, learned the hard way not to touch electric cattle fences. Never seen a dog jump so high  :chuckle:

I ended up with two ducks and one rooster. Pretty slow with tons of geese flying but not many ducks. Still had fun

Ended up crash coursing the decoys and duck call this morning. First time ever. Had a flock turn into me but my calls must have been not so convincing or I was parked too close to the birds. Either way it was fun and I'll get better at it! Ended the day with a Surf Scoter duck of all birds  :)

P.S. - Geese must know we cant shoot them this week... had one hang out 20 feet from me today for a good 10 minutes before he flew off. See you next week bud  8)

Sure is! Not the greatest lake it seems for getting into birds, but I haven't left skunked yet... I don't think  ;)

I've spent a lot of time hunting Kapowsin from a kayak. Never have unlimited there, but always come out with a bird or two. If nothing else I can at least jump something.
