I have Butler Creek covers on my scope, but mine are about 23 years old. I hear the newer Butler Creek covers aren't as good as the old ones.  :dunno:

What is your primary objective? Are you trying to protect the lenses from rain, sun, or damage?

The cheap rubber bikini covers are what I am using these days... Haven't had good luck with the butler creek flip ups. I haven't tried the neoprene covers though

I have a nice aluminum for the front of mine, and really like it, but the front isn't threaded so I cant put one of the nice ones on it. Im also up for suggestions. I also have a Leopold.

I looked into this a lot last year before my Alaskan float hunt. A lot of the guys up in AK (on the hunting forums anyway), recommend these scope covers. I bought one and it worked great for my float hunt. On a float hunt everything gets wet from the water splashing on the raft, way more than just a rain storm. Kept my scope dry and free from fog. My hunting partner used Butler Creek flip up covers and had fogging issues.

Wow, those are expensive. I think I'll stick with the Butler Creek caps.
