go on ebay and try to get some of the old uncle mikes covers. They are the best ever. I have them for almost every scope I have.

Butler Creek is junk. I cant even keep the recoil on my 270 from killing them...and it weighs 14 pounds and has a muzzle brake.

I love the Alumina covers on my new Leupold, they are expensive but are very nice. I got them on Amazon for 80.00 with free shipping

Everyone I hunt with and including myself all have Butler Creek scope covers, never any problems with mine and they do the job just fine. If you get the correct fitting caps for your scope then you will never have any problems.
