End of the road or before on the 1906. Follow the river. Or find an advantage point overlooking the river. Tons of sign in there this summer and a lot of elk in there now according to a Co worker I talked to today.

I am digging up this post from almost 6 years ago...time flies when you're having fun! I wanted to let everyone who helped on this, that I took a big, almost 450lb cow that year and as a plus, my dad shot his spike too! An hour later than mine, and about 100 yards off of where I shot my cow. Love this forum, and again, thank you all!

Haha, to true, Apologies to everyone. I know everyone was worried about it and it probably kept multiple people up at night. I just thought about it today and dug it up. Must be a slow Monday at work.

But it was a great hunt and this forum helped put me on them!
