big 5 point muzzleloader buck
« on: November 03, 2015, 10:53:52 AM »
Second to last day. Been watching this buck for two years. Finally found him 300 yards away. Crawled for 3 hours in the fog on the ridge he was on. Was gonna shoot at a hundred yards but could only see big horns behind some sagebrush. Wind was perfect so tried to get closer. Looked away for a second and he disappeared heart sank. got closer and finally lifted up his head. I sat up. He stood up 12 yards and dropped him right in his bed. 3 mile pack defiantly worth it. Shaking so bad thought for sure I was gonna miss.

Amazing buck, congrats.

That's about all I've got. That is a masher buck.

Big is always cool but big isn't always pretty, IMHO, you Sir have both, BIG and pretty.  I'd have that head mounted in a New York minute.  Very nice!

:yeah:
What an amazing year for deer.  I can't believe the deer that have been taken and the stories that go with them.   I have honestly run out of ways to congratulate people.

Don't forget to post a photo in the 2015 bucks thread.
