Moles
« on: November 05, 2015, 08:51:12 AM »
I have recently bought a house and the yard has a severe mole problem.  Looking at and learning the trapping laws here I am sure it is illegal to just trap them the way I normally would.  Anyone have any thoughts or fool proof plans to get rid of them.  I kinda feel like Bill Murray in Caddyshack.  LOL.  I have tried smoke bombs and stuff you put on the yard to repel them but that obviously does not work.  any help would be appreciated.

Get some of these, they are by far the best thing around.

Are those type of traps legal for use in Washington State?  They appear to be body gripping.  I didnt see any exceptions in the laws for mole traps.

The trap in the youtube video above would be illegal.
Look into this, http://molecat.com/
They are legal I believe.

It is just crazy that a powder actuated device is legal and a trap is not.  LOL.  This is a little more than I was wnating to spend but would certainly do the trick.  I would need to make sure my dog would not get into this just the same as the other style traps.

Ok I just the youtube video on the mole cat humptulips was eluding to.  It is not waht I thought and appears to be quite effective.  I am new to the area so if there is an endangered pocket gopher I am not aware of it.  I would assume I will be getting rid of all of them as my yard looks like iwo jima right now lol,
