This would be a good place to start:

It is better to be consistently incorrect than inconsistently correct...

My level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity...

Sarcasm makes smart people laugh and stupid people mad.

legal traps are basically all cage traps. Several types of them.
What is open? Pretty simple, all furbearers are open Nov 1 to March 31
Beaver otter muskrat mink raccoon bobcat marten coyote fox badger striped skunk spotted skunk weasel nutria opossum I think I got all of them.
You really need to take the Trapper Ed class. A lot of your questions will be answered, more so then the online stuff.
Check out the how to get a trapping license thread at the top of the page. Karen has info about her class on Dec 5 on the last page.

You'll need the trapper ed certificate to get your license. That might be waived if you've had a trapping license in another state, but I'm not sure.

Nope, You need the WA certification.
We don't use the online version of manual in the class. The online version probably enough to pass the course but I think you will get a lot more out of it if you take the class.
Yes, suitcase type traps are legal. Expensive though.
