Last rimrock attempt!
« on: November 04, 2015, 06:11:03 AM »
After putting 8 straight days and seeing only two cows I'm for some reason going to give it one last shot on Saturday! Any input on where to focus for this one day would great, I'm not looking for a monster any bull will do!

:yeah:  while on the Conrad meadows fire our convoy just missed a herd of spikes attempting to cross bout 3/4 mile past 1st road that heads south.

We've been hitting It hard all season looking for spikes and now cows. Haven't seen anything.  High, low, thick, deep, far, close, doesn't seam to matter.

Haven't seen as many camps as years past either.  I figured with wildcat being closed it would be a zoo

Saw one wolf last year scouting for my dad's Rimrock elk tag up by Darland mountain. Game warden said there were 3 of them up there, 1 with a radio collar.

Tough hunt. Good luck. I've got no good advice.

I have two locations that I know produce during the modern season. If you call me at 509-952-8393 I will tell you where to go if you tell me where you saw the cows. I want to do late archery and I want a tender cow for the freezer. My locations will be good now, but maybe not in two weeks. That is why I want to know where those cows were. Best of luck and my name is Jake by the way.
