Nice group of elk a single cow. Lots of hunters going to find another spot. A guy shot a bull yesterday on the 75rd Hancock. No Hancock permit. They took it away and gave it to the Muckleshoots. Still snow good. Rick

I have seen you post a couple times that you are running into a lot of other hunters.  I don't understand this, this is a closed GMU for elk right now and there are only a few special permits given out.  Am I missing something?  You should pretty much have the whole GMU to yourself other than a few other hunters and some recreationalists.  Are all these other hunters tribal?  Good luck on your hunt!  I have been putting in for the White River for 12 years and cant draw it for nothing. I hope you put a good one on the ground.

Tribal yesterday and today. Headed up the  75  over ten Jeeps. Just a crowded place. Trying to think of other timber patchs. Rick

With the snow I'd be hiked up one of the main ridges coming out of the park and just wait............. Enough snow and they will be at your camp spot.....
