Planning on Steliko tomorrow morning, then back up on Thurs for 5 day hunt.

Did see one truck with a buck in the back heading up Potatoe right at dark, don't know how big  :dunno:

I was also up in that area and the clouds were very low, if you went up past 3500 feet you were in the clouds and could not see a thing.  Hoping for high clouds tomorrow

Can still hunt low up valley, saw some good bucks last weekend looking like they were content in lake creek area, were all over the does!!!

Clouds and fog were bad today......no shooters spotted though I did see over 100 deer and a lot of bucks.  I agree....higher in elevation or further up valley.

I'd go up to where you're on the border of the Slide Ridge GMU. I don't recall the road numbers but where I got my buck in 2004, the Entiat was on the right side of the road and Slide Ridge on the left (as we were going up.) Might have been the 5900 we were on as that does sound familiar.

That year there was no snow to push them down either. Except earlier during the general season there had been a lot, but it was all gone by the time our hunt started.

Met a guy up there today who showed me a pic of a buck killed yesterday. It scored 204 and some change! Huge buck. Hopefully more move in!

What kind of rig are you in?  probably saw you up there.  That buck was a hog!!
