skagit wildlife HQ break ins
« on: November 06, 2015, 12:27:43 PM »
just saw a post on Skagit breaking news about vehicles have been getting broke into in parking lot....     just a heads up for everyone that hunts that area to keep eyes open and no valuable stuff left in trucks/cars.
hope everyone has a great season without this kinda crap to worry about.

Breaking into trucks where you know everyone is packing a shotgun and could come back at any minute...

Gotta be tweakers.

If everyone chipped in $5, they could probably hire a guard for the morning.

I saw an incident near the Mill town boat launch.  2 guys were talking to a female game warden and pointing to their car which had a busted side window; glass was all over the road.  Same area, probably the same lowlifes.

I'm guessing these are mostly during the week? That place sees a lot of traffic on weekends plus there's usually a warden there...

I was there today. Did not see any suspicious people. Pretty gutsy to do it in that parking lot.

We were in the area today, no break ins; I think my success is due to the wet rubber gloves and day old baloney sammich I had in the rig  :IBCOOL:
