Not walla walla specific but the pheasants aren't overly populated IMO,I spent 2 weekends over there so far, opener and last weekend, saw 8 pheasants total only 3 were roosters. Valley quail on the other hand were thicker than fleas on a hound. Othello and Colfax is where I was at.Weather last weekend wasn't the greatest high winds and alot of rain.I've seen more roosters this year around my house which is 1 mile from a wetside release site, saw 4 this morning.I'd suggest getting on the WDFW site and reserving a hunt on their private lands reservation system. Some are quality hunts and some are youth hunts.

How true is that in some of these areas around Colfax?
Being from the area I will say Walla Walla has some decent pheasant hunting but if you get out of town you'll have better luck. Plenty of CRP feel free to hunt ground and a lot of nice farmers that will let you hunt if you just knock on the door. When you're getting ready to head east send me a PM I will hook you up.
