Godfathers '08 whitetail
« on: January 20, 2009, 08:44:02 AM »
Palouse country - private land

I actually had this deer come into my draw and go into some thick brush, I knew my Godfather was in the next draw over so I scooted up above where this deer went in to make sure he didnt get past me. I got up a little too high and the wind shifted and blew right down to him, he busted outta the brush and ran straight towards my godfather. I heard the shot about 10 seconds later. I got over there and he said the buck stopped about 10 yards from him and stared. BAM! helped him gut it and drag it down the hill then ran and got the game cart. Sorry no in the field pics, i didnt bring my camera up with me that day. Enjoy!

My godfather and I -
