Nicely done by the hunter to stick with it thru thick and thin, I think elk are the hardest big game in the state to hunt.

Dandy first. Good on you. I took my nephew out and he got his first. It's really a lot more enjoyable to me to see people getting their first animal or someone who hasn't had much luck get one than me tagging out.
