Well I think the picture Jimmy33 posted proves that the buck in question is dead.

Not the same deer ... Steeliedrew's buck is a 3 pt on its right and a 4 on the left ... Jimmy33's buck is the opposite.

One of the best things about this is all the assumption that he lives or lived (still a mystery) in the Valley area. Perhaps because in the 2nd video link I posted it shows the edge of an old burn? Well, lots of burns on the east side folks.  That buck migrated pretty far between September and October to have been killed in those units is what I'm saying.

Someone doesn't want to share pics.  Respect that!  For many reasons people have not posted pics on a public forum.  People who call out where they shot it by the background, who announce the area to everyone. 

I see there are two choices.  Acknowledge he's dead and move on, or spend all next year looking for an animal that is actually in someones living room.

I can respect it. whether I believe it or not because fact is I do not Know MtnMuley so I'd need to see a pic to know for sure. As for spending all year looking for a buck that's already on someone's wall...I won't be looking for Krusty specifically. Any legal buck will do. It just so happens where I go they're better than just "legal bucks".

I agree- the fact that you saw that big buck in that basin doesn't mean anything. So, knowing that, steeliedrew, could you PM me the location of that basin so I know where NOT to look?

Oh whats funny is that this isn't the first year that my group of hunting buddies has been on these bucks in that particular basin...Did I leave that out of the story?   

Look everybody  I'm not trying to have a pissing match here.  I was excited about this particular deer and genuinely wanted to learn a little about his score potential.  I had been thinking all along that he had to be 180" all day but I don't know about scoring and it was brought to my attention in this thread that he's missing his right G4 and that he has shallow forks and that he possibly would only net around 160".   I actually had to google what a G4 is. That's how much I don't know about antler configuration.

I do appreciate the positive comments and those who took time to educate me on this deer. I absolutely did not want this to turn in to what it did.
