And that is unfortunate.
Quote from: jackelope on November 12, 2015, 03:55:39 PMAnd that is unfortunate. Its not unfortunate, its life. Lots of folks out there that are completely full of bull crap. Heck I ran into a guy in the elk woods this year that beat feet over to me to talk to me. I think we have all ran into this guy 300 yard shots with his ball and patch pistol, 3 bucks from Dayton the last 5 years that that were over 40" wide, a day of coyote hunting where he had to resort to his sidearm to fend off the wave of dogs. 21 dead coyotes when the smoke settled to be exact. For all I know this guy could be anyone of a lot of people on this very site. Sorry, but I'm not believing the stories he told, regardless not having a prior reason to not believe him.Disclaimer: I am in know way referring to specific individuals in this post, it is a generalization of a good portion of society as a whole. Well except for the guy I was describing, he was completely full of it
Its an exaggeration of a point. Believing someone you don't know. Of course they aren't identical. It comes back to believing people that you do not know. If I had a relationship with a good deer, and someone I don't know just says, ya he's dead, and then nothing more? I would question that and would want to see proof. Pretty good odds you would do the same if roles were reversed. Am I wrong?

Steele, just take BLR's opinion and move forward believing that buck is still alive, problem solved.

Did you ever get an elk? Man I arrowed a 400" last day bull then had to run up a tree to keep his big brother from goring me. Crazy stuff...well pretty average day of hunting for me but still you get what I mean.
