Its an exaggeration of a point.  Believing someone you don't know.  Of course they aren't identical.

It comes back to believing people that you do not know.  If I had a relationship with a good deer, and someone I don't know just says, ya he's dead, and then nothing more?  I would question that and would want to see proof.  Pretty good odds you would do the same if roles were reversed.  Am I wrong?

Steele, just take BLR's opinion and move forward believing that buck is still alive, problem solved.
boy I would have to go read back through but I'm fairly certain I never once said it was dead or alive. I merely stated that IF IT WAS ME PERSONALLY I would need further closer than just some strangers word. Why is this so hard to understand? I have no side to take.  I would no sooner beieve steeliedrew''s word as I would MM.  Nothing against them but they are 100% complete strangers TO  ME.  It would be like you posting pics from your montana trip and then me saying, ya that buck is dead.  Pretty sure you wouldn't believe me.  Am I wrong?

I didn't say you did, I suggested that he move forward believing the buck is still alive, based on your posts about not taking a "strangers word".
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

I've had enough of this one.

Steeliedrew, I hope you find the closure you are looking for on this.  I know it would haunt my dreams until I could climb back into those basins come summer.

MtMuley, I hope I made it very clear, that I was not calling you out, calling you a liar, or even talking about you specifically.  I was just using the situation as an example.  RT says you are a good dude, and I PERSONALLY KNOW RT, so if he says your a bro, than your welcome in my camp any time

Hahaha, what a thread :chuckle: 1st off, I didn't shoot a 2pt, I shot multiple 2pts while cruising thru the middle of the 346 wherever I wanted, and i couldnt help borrowing your quad as it was just sitting there looking pretty like it's never been off road, kind of like the pretty ford truck you drive. :chuckle:  also, it was shoot all the 2pts or watch them get beat up by you exacting revenge with a 2x4. I also think I've seen this buck and he is quite possibly dead, one of about 10 in the back of a truck leaving Hanford.  :chuckle:

I doubt I'm one of the 7 BLRman, but there are some outstanding members on this site and I respect none more than Mtmuley.  I'm sure he is laughing his ass off at all this gibberish.
Old school is old school.  Dead is dead.  I guess I speak his language.

By the way folks, if any of you are actually in tune with the migration routes of deer in the Methow, you'll note they can go quite far in their travels, in routes you never imagined.  He'll even the WDFW acknowledges that.
