TRY THIS U TUBE LINK and SEE IF IT WORKS.

My brother in law sent this video to me. Seems like they are getting at something.  They did get these two Vancouver Island bucks last week.

WASU did a study in a research facility in Tumwater on blacktail eating habbits compared to pigmy goats. BT will eat stuff goats wont. I think there is a lot of misconceptions about them because they will eat damn near anything.

I've seen quite a few eating on the grey moss hanging from downed trees in an active logging operation.  I've seen plenty of elk do the same thing.  I glassed my second largest buck doing this one morning in November.  There were so many trees down on that hill he only had a few choices of ways to get out of there without walking logs.  And it was steep enough that wasn't going to happen.  Made the perfect funnel for me to sit on and wait for him to come up the hill.  When he stepped up on the muddy road I was at full draw eight yards away.  After a Zwickey Delta went threw his heart he slid down the stacked logs about 60 yards on his back.  It was cool...but one enormous B&*%$ getting him out of there!!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

That hill or valley was their chosen home before all the trees got cut.  They don't change their home ranges after the logging, they mostly seem to change the times that they use it.
