Anybody been hunting the late hunt in the Sherman unit? Heard some good reports from there. Anybody have any pics or reports to share?

Was just over there hanging stands an cruisen around seen a few groups of does with small bucks close by but no chasing. Talked to a few hunters who said they haven't been seeing much, an that the rut was early this year :dunno:

You might want to check and see if they have opened up area closed to fire. From SR 21 to 395 and from Sherman Pass to Canada was closed to all access except the road over boulder. Ran into a neighbor last Tuesday he said they are writing fines for not following the signs.

This says it's still closed

I started seeing a lot of bucks traffic on the 10th. I think the rut is just starting. Find the does and you'll find a buck.
