Late archery deer In 388
« on: November 01, 2015, 02:51:42 PM »
Got a few question, has anyone did the late archery hunt northwest of goldendale.
I have hunted there quite a bit. I have the multi-season tag and have been holding out.
If you have any pointers I do know the area pretty well. I know how we all are secretive.
So message me if you can help.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like an Arnold Schwarzenegger deer it's huge.  Honestly I'm just hunting horns I've been very fortunate this year. A Oregon buck about like the one you have a pic of. A Washington bull and bear. So whatever happens happens.  Your buck must be tucked away up high. Hope he made it good luck

Got a late archery cow tag for the 560, but will try and sneek over to the 388 for a few days. 388 late archery is my favorite hunt of the year. Got a  388 doe tag as well in my pocket but probably wont shoot a doe as we always see a few really good bucks that I would rather hang my tag on... I hope for snow without a hard freeze because its tough stalking when its all froze up.
A hunt based only on trophies taken falls far short of what the ultimate goal should be, time to commune with your inner soul as you share the outdoors with the birds, the animals, and fish that live there”.- Fred bear

It was dangerous last year after it froze up...
