Youth bow
« on: November 13, 2015, 05:35:23 PM »
My 7 year old has outgrown her compound bow. Looking for an upgrade from the $45 Bear she has now. About the only one I'm seeing is the Diamond Atomic youth. Is this the only option out there ? She really wants one like mine with the with the " circle you look through at the light up things and the hand thingy and an arrow holder " :chuckle:  I don't have a problem with the price or the bow ( I shoot a Diamond ) but can't find any others like it. Thanks Allen

I've been looking for a starter bow for my 5year old. The diamond atomic seems like the best bang for the buck currently.

My 8 year old kid shoots an Atomic. It's a great little bow. You'll have to add a peep sight but other than that you're good to go. I think a peep is too complicated for a 5 year old. I had a kisser button put on for her and she does alright with that.

I've got the infinite edge pro and love it. A little large for my 5 year old. I wasn't crazy with the peep so I swapped it for one of radsavs.

Have you looked at the Hoyt Ignite? Bought one for my son and it's a pretty nice setup.

My 8 year old uses the Hero release with good success.

That's good to hear. How did you teach her to not pull the trigger until at full draw ? I'm worried about mine dry firing it before she gets it to full draw.
