Wolf tracks?

Posted these pics in deer section. Was up scouting for late archery yesterday. Driving a road that is a boundary between Manson and Alta units. First print was on the shoulder of road. Measured Garmin at home and track would have been a little over 5 1/2" long from the back of the pad to the toes. Around the next bend into snow that was melting out quickly but all tracks were definitely canine. No deer tracks. What do you think? I'm thinking 99% chance they are wolf.

I'm thinking there is a 99 percent chance you're correct.

I saw an
opportunity
recipe for poor wolves to get ran over, accidently of course.

I'd say that picture of the tracks in the snow is a good indication that the dogs should stay in the truck and I would move on.

Pair of adults with 4 pups? I'm guessing left to right: pup, adult, pup, adult, pup, pup

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when. No habitat = no game.
