This is everything I like to see or hear in a hunting story - great people, great community, great mentoring, all toward making a great human being.  Congrats to all involved.  I need to go see who is chopping onions ...
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Ah good read again during this long off season!  Again, great stuff!
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

Just stumbled onto this. What a great story. Makes me want to spend more time on this site
“Just give me a comfortable couch, a dog, a good book, and a woman. Then if you can get the dog to go somewhere and read the book, I might have a little fun.”

Well done to the group and to your son.  I've got 3 and 9/10 (due 2-21) grandsons and can't wait to get them out.  First bull and something that is unusual make it even better.

What a really cool story, all those involved deserve praise.  Can't believe I missed this one!  Congrats to all involved, especially the young man.  That is truly what it's all about right there!!
