And we wait...

10 day hunt over !!! Seen ton's of deer 30 to 40 doe's a day alot of spikes 2 points and small 3 points chasing and pushing the doe's. Passed on several smaller 4 points on the first 3 days hoping for a migrator to come in and chase the little guys out.  Never really happened. No weather. Snowed 1 day than just cold and foggy. Awesome hunt though made several long stalks on decent buck's up and down than back up the hill's better be in good shape for this hunt the deer seamed to be kinda spooky probably cause the gun hunters hunted them hard.Almost every nice buck had doe's with them making the stalk that much harder. All in all it was one of the most fun hunts i've been on seen 7-9 bucks that were in that 170-190 range just couldn't connect 2 were 500 yards away in the deepest narlyest canyons. Mayde 2 were migrators with the deep dark chocolate racks and tan huge bodies. Met several cool and nice hunters did a couple group stalks trying for the big boys to no avail though. So that brings us to the last 2 days FOG  thick nasty fog watched a last day decent 4x4 push his doe into a canyon i had made a stalk on the prior day so i decided to make a go of it down i went 200 yards away no deer disappeared into the fog came back around to head back up and there they were bedded 90 yards away facing the other way game on.Got to 70 yards and realized it was a smaller 4x4 being the last day i said if i could get to 40 i'm taking the shot.Well after an hour i was 40 yards away and  they didn't even know i was there. Took the shot nailed him in his bed he ran 50 yards piled up. Entiat tag filled !!!!!!

Thanks for the update, sounds like you had a good time and used the most of your time.  Way to get the job done in the end and enjoy your quality hunt.  You never know when that fog is going to roll in and make things difficult.

Congrats on your hunt and thanks for letting us know how it turned out.

Seeing 7-9 bucks from 170-190 was well worth your hunt in my eyes.
