Gun safe recommendations
« on: November 17, 2015, 11:33:39 AM »
I am in the market for a gun safe that is a 24 gun size.  I have been looking at nwsafe.com and I really like the revolution.  Any recommendations or black friday sales?  Thanks guys.

Costco.com sells some good ones and they deliver to your house.  You have to be a member to shop online though.

Take a look at Luvsmystang........he has a few posts of a few smaller safes. Might be something you would be interested in.

Recommend you buy on listed as 30 guns or more so you can get 24 maybe in it  :twocents:

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

You'd be lucky to get 24 guns in a 100 gun safe...

My point was poking fun at those types of comments, perhaps I should've aimed for a more unrealistic number for safe size.

All in good fun, of course.

JUST FYI - The Costco unit my friend bought during thier sale event was actually supplied and delivered by the folks @ Sportco.  Maybe check there to cut out the costco markup.  Sportco also often has scratch and dent sales for stuff that is scuffed but 100% solid and secure...

If you actually owned some man sized guns instead of little boy red ryder size guns you would know that most of the time you wont get the amount they say you can....most of the time.
Whipper snapper... :chuckle:

I have 2 safes and unless i want my guns to have an orgy in there they wont fit the amount it says, scopes, slings, bolts etc take up room and most of us dont want our guns kissing each other.. :twocents:

Mine are having an orgy and doing a lot of soft touching.  I'm hoping they breed new cricket .22LRs or something that will eventually grow up to be pre64 model 70 hunting rifles with leupold scopes.  I've got an AR pistol in there that I hope is developing into a barrett .50.

Definitely NW Safe is the place to get one....and as others have said....get bigger than you think you need.

I bought a Browning there.  Really like the feature of having 8-10 guns on the door itself before you start putting them in the interior.

NW Safes   I have the Lincoln, came with dehumidifier, wifi alarm and monitoring, and they delivered/setup.  They also offer military discounts.

NW Safes

:yeah: I personally wouldn't buy from anywhere else.

Thanks guys! Pulled the trigger on a 24 revolution special from nwsafe. Not the biggest or the best but a great start at a killer price. Black Friday special.
