2015 Naches Pass Mt. Goat
« on: November 22, 2015, 12:03:50 PM »
So after putting in every year since it went once in a life time i finally drew
the goat tag.  Had the sheep tag in 2011 so will be looking for the moose tag now.  The horns measure 9 3/4 and 9 5/8.  The bases are just shy of 6 inches.  This was a very memoriable hunt as my dad, brother, nephew and good friend paul was with me the day i pulled the trigger.  I spent alot of time scouting and went on a couple of ovenight hunts before settling with this one.   It's amazing how much time these things spend in the timber.  It was a great way to start the hunting season and off to the taxidermist for a half mount.
