Post turkey day hunt south west Washington.
« on: November 27, 2015, 04:59:19 PM »
Had a great post turkey day hunt today. First time out with the new Banded boat blind. I'm going to do a couple modifications to it to get a little more hight on the roof, but other than that I love it.  Easily goes up and down, the dog figured out the new door location pretty quick and my brother and I were able to scratch out 8 ducks. Probably should have had a limit as we missed some birds and had a few come in when we were busy bull s...ing. But I'll take a mixed bag of 8 for the first trip of the year

I haven't duck hunted a decade or so but looks like you did just fine to me!  Getting on this site is making think about getting back into it.  Not sure I really need more stacks of gear but what the heck.  I like the banded system.  Congrats on a successful hunt.
