I saw this as a follow up:Idaho man charged with stealing elk semenBy Associated Press Published: Nov 25, 2015 at 10.14 AM PSTIdaho man charged with stealing elk semen receives sentencing.TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) - A former employee of a Twin Falls elk ranch has been accused of stealing elk semen and artificially inseminating elk at another ranch has been sentenced.Judge Dick Hardington was quoted as saying "Mr. Eldredge has committed one of the biggest -- this court has ever seen". As previously reported Eldredge has previous convictions related to the illegal trade of animal parts and products. Surprisingly, his reference at another elk ranch named Early Morning Wood Ranch checked out and we were never suspicious said Richard Handy, a previous employer. Officers were following up on a pretty big tip provided by a good Samaritan and were able to track Mr. Eldgedge and his semem smuggling activities. One officer was willing to speak to us off the record. He told the AP that the balls are now in the hands of the court but overall he is pleased with the length of the sentence handed down. Here's to another law breaker doing hard time.
