Gunsmith around Puyallup
« on: November 25, 2015, 10:07:18 PM »
Looking for a gunsmith to instal a muzzlebrake on my wife's tikka t3 superlite rifle near Puyallup. What are your recommendations? Since hunting season is over for her this will be one of her Christmas gifts.

Mike Polazzo of Polazzo precision put a brake on my Tikka. He does great work. He's in Covington.

There is no greater respect to have for wildlife than to harvest an animal fairly and use it's flesh to feed your family.  ~me

You have quite a few good options on the west side.

Ken Hagen - H&H Precision Rifles 253-293-8983 hprecision@comcast.net  - Ken knows how to build some VERY ACCURATE rifles.  Good guy also.

Benchmark Barrels - 360-652-2594  benchmarkbarrels@gmail.com - These guys do some gunsmithing work.  But they make some of the best barrels out there.  I have been shooting their barrels for roughly 5 years now, and have nothing but top marks to say about them.  I took around 60th place out of 240 of the best international shooters at the Snipershide Cup in Colorado this year, using one of their barrels.

Does mike have a website that I can check out? Roughly how much did it cost to put a brake on? Thank you

He has no website. He's about 85 years old or something and works out of his house. The brake is about $225 after everything.
