First 2015 round of Europeans (BlackRiver Taxidermy)
« on: November 26, 2015, 09:44:02 AM »
Happy Thanksgiving to all! A few pics of the first of many rounds of euros' ready to go home or getting mounted on plaques. Our bugs (dermestid beetles) do a detailed and excellent job, followed by degreasing and whitening. Enjoy and hope everyone has a wonderful turkey day!

Yep he sure is....one of the oldest bucks brought in this season, teeth filed down to make all his back teeth look like elk ivorys! The buck had damaged eye, a HUGE chunk out of his ear, and some serious scars along his face that look like a cat got a hold of him at one point. So awesome to see the character of each animal that comes in, not only in the antlers but the scars and marks particular to each one.

:yeah:  And I love how much they curve in at the top, too much bigger and they would come close to touching.
