How's the hunting going up there. I've heard not good. Just wanted some insight before I make the drive for the weekend. Thanks in advance.

15 degrees cold and crunchy not much moving except road hunters. Seeing some small bucks but nothing real big.

My first time there and only hunted 2 days. Very cold. But got into a very nice whitetail that was rutting it up. 2nd day spotted a nice 4x4 90 min before dark. Couldn't get close enough in either case. But it's archery hunting right? Mainly about the adrenaline of seeing the animals close. The muleys were not rutting any more from what I saw. I'll be back.  :IBCOOL:

Just got home like everyone says lots and lots of cats tracks. A few 140/150 class bucks but nothing to get real exited about. The cold and full moon didn't help either but like you say any day hunting is better than working :)

Remember you will never shoot big bucks if you shoot little bucks. :) that unit has the potential of producing some monsters
