Had a pretty good shoot this weekend
« on: November 24, 2015, 03:18:27 PM »
Not that its that uncommon to have a good hunt, but what is unusual is that I actually got some decent video and was able to put together some good clips from this past weekend to produce a nice little video.  Thought you guys would enjoy...

Good luck junior, hope you can find it in the dark. And remember, it's a marathon , not a sprint. Sleep if your tired, call if you need help, and hide the ginger squatch or you'll see nothing.
What we need is more cow bell

Great video. I have a go pro but I have had a hard time editing videos. I think the issue is the computer I have been using. Looks like a well trained lab also.

Loved it.

Makes me want to get a new pup and build some blinds. :)

Thanks guys. I generally don't like to post stuff like this, but I know how much I enjoy watching videos from the "regular hunting guys" like all of us here, I felt I should post it. Hopefully we'll get more videos on here in the future.

What'd you use to shoot the video? Enjoyed it!

Pretty simple:
-GoPro with a couple different mounts (head, gun, tripod) and just move it around in between charging sessions
-iPhone video camera

Using the iPhone actually works great because you can start the GoPro recoding from your phone, and then record video from your phone.  I also have q portable little charger that allows me to charge up the phone and the GoPro in the bind. They're cheap and very necessary. The GoPro battery goes fast.

What'd you use to shoot the video? Enjoyed it!

Great job on the video   Probably the most enjoyable 3 and a half minutes of video I've seen in some time. Enjoyed the audio tracks as well. Thanks for posting.
