Clearly that stuffer works, because the product looks fantastic! However, if you can get your hands on a vertical stuffer, you'll lose your mind. After years of stuffing with the Kitchen Aid, I made the plunge. It's pretty amazing to stuff five pounds in a minute.
I am drooling over a vertical stuffer. The meat gun works well but it only holds about a pound per round ... lots of refilling.
I have a small smoker and a smaller budget. I could make the caulking gun style stuffer work for me

Absolutely! It all tastes the same. Ever see the old timers stuff by hand? That is absolutely amazing to see!!

you got to ease it in slow and steady, you can't just cram it or you'll tear it.
