Outdoor Research had some of their nice tactical gloves on sale last weekend. I am always trying to find a glove thin enough to shoot with but sturdy too. I use a thin fake leather glove, add silk liner. Keeps me warm down to about 30. Not waterproof, bring a separate pair for nasty conditions.
I use fleece, 5 finger gloves, the cheap ones. if it is real windy or really cold I stay home or go to a bar. mike w
To the OP: I have terribly cold hands, too. Maybe think a different way? Keep your hands dry (don't worry so much about the type of gloves). Keep chemical hand warmers in your pocket. The problem is your body! You don't pump enough blood to your hands. Short of fixing that problem, add heat to your fingertips through some type of hand warmer. I use a box of Costco hand warmers per year. Keep them in my pack, even in September.
