Killed my first bobcat!
«

Took a friend deer hunting last weekend and was lucky enough to come across this guy. Had to bail into some timber to track him down but luckily he held up.

Have only seen one once while hunting and didn't know at the time I could have taken it. Then saw a black bear about 15 minutes later, same story. Back in my teens just starting hunting when I didn't even think about bear or cats.

I had intentions of getting a rug. A good buddy of mine went to the taxidermist with me and convinced me to get a life size mount. What a friend! I killed him with my 22-250. Thanks guys! I'm super exited to have finally killed a bobcat. Many of years in the woods and have blown a few opportunities. Things finally came together
