I've heard of long arming, but if the boot shown is from your 6 year old son, well... that's just dishonest  :chuckle:

So did you see the beast that layed  the log?

Not unless it came from one of the two cows I was on when I found it. Spotted them bedded in a cut a good mile away at 1:00pm. 1:20 and I was working my way up a creek bed to cover my movement and had closed to 160 yards.  Wind was swirly so I didn't want to get closer until they moved. 2:00pm they got up and unfortunately started feeding towards the timber opposite of where I was set up. So as a last ditch effort I crawled on hands and knees through the clear cut keeping what stumps I could between me and them. I closed to 60 yards before they busted out. Windy enough that they didn't hear me but it's probable they winded me or saw my pack moving around as I was crawling.  It was a fun, adrenaline packed couple of hours at least.

What nickname did you give this guy, Lumpy?  Definitely not "Krusty 2" although "2"  or "deuce" isn't a stretch, I mean some stretching was obviously involved.  Man did this thread take a tur   n.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Wait...before we go any further with nicknames...I need to know if someone killed this turd and pics or it didn't happen.

If you PM me the general area you found this I can let you know if it is the same one I saw and confirm if it is dead.  It looks like it only migrated a few feet in elevation to where you found it.
