Charlies Taxidermy, Another Blacktail mount done.
« on: January 22, 2009, 11:18:10 AM »
Here is my buddies buck that grossed 119. Its on a cranked , 90 degree blacktail form. I hadded a bunch to the briskett and shoulders to make the form half way presentable, and of course alot of head work. This form shows off the tine lengths pretty well. I'd rather use that form on a pedestal mount rather than on the wall but thats what he wanted  ;)

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Nice work. Got any pics looking straight at the wall to get the deer profile?
