I scanned the website through a norton website virus analyzer and it's safe according to norton. 

bit.ly   is a website link shortener and while http:// bit.ly  itself is safe you never know where it'll take you.  bit.ly links are often used for phishing sites and other malicious sites so always use caution with link shorteners.
