2nd tag orcas island

I have a second tag for orcas and was gonna hunt some private property over there but my buddy said he hasnt seen much deer around his place lately. Is there any public land over there? I see there is a Killibrew wildlife area but im not seeing anything on whether its huntable or not. Any information would greatly be appreciated

There is a spot over on the north east by the park. Sorry I don't no the name of it. If you have the private land chip for thd GPS it helps. There is a little BLM spot eastside off island to my brother hunted it 10 years ago but I don't know if it is accessible anymore. I would just start knock on doors. 80% deer lovers and 20% haters. I think that is the best advice. The huntable parts of the island are virtually 100% private. Good luck.

No, you are probably thinking of the note that, at least I think used to, say the bulk of the unit is private property.

All of the island GMUs need to have this posted again as I ran into trespasser after trespasser this year.

everything in blue,orange,yellow is public. The big chunk is the state park to the east. The rest you will need to look into

Have a friend that has this tag, He's from Tricities area and family owns the second largest dairy farm in the state. He is willing to trade a day or two of fantastic waterfowl hunting or upland bird for a secured piece of property to fill this tag. PM me and I can pass your info on if your interested.
