Bushnell customer service test
« on: December 10, 2015, 08:29:31 PM »
Well, I went to Idaho this November for a deer hunt. The first place I glassed I found a 7x8 buck with three does.  He was across a canyon but shootable with the correct range. I pulled out my Bushnell Elite 1500 with ARC and pushed the button.....no number reading. Everything else worked. I have used it for several years and have gotten a lot of long readings. Even past 1600 yards. 1300 on a bush next to a deer once and 909 on a deer once.  It has been a good unit til now.  I used it the week before on a friend's cow elk without any problem. When I needed it nothing!! :bash:

Anyway..just E-mailed Bushnell to find out what they will do for me.  Just want it repaired we will see if I get a response.

were you able to get close enough to get the deer without the RF?

Makes me sick to talk about it.  :'(   No way to get closer. In the middle,of a burn on the other side.

Second the fresh battery, and the good luck.  Years ago I bought four range finding binoculars, three at a bargain cave, and they finally started to stop working.  I sent one in to Bushnell, the response:  sorry but we no longer carry parts for that model, here's a coupon for a new model....  Of course, the coupon wasn't even as good as I could find at multiple locations online.   >:(

It really makes me give a second thought to buying another Bushnell rangefinder even though the price point of theirs is better.   :(
